Hi folks!

I'm back from travelling Italy, especially the tuscany. Unfortunatly my gps was sometimes going crazy, so I decided to leave out rome, and stay in the north of Italy.

The first day I went to Venice, a really nice City, build 90% on water. There have been so many building lots, even on St. Marcus place, so I finally spent most time looking after street signs and the plan of the city, to find my way to a capable place for Photography.

On the Second day I strolled through Bologna, which is small, but neat, and good for shopping.

The next day I went to Florence with high expectations, and left with the feeling that they ripped me off with entrance-prizes and parking-rates. I paid 8 Euros for a inner look through a extremly dirty Plexiglas on the cupola of the cathedral, and I was not allowed to visit the church (to watch it from below) with the same ticket (I would have to pay again 8 Euros). I was in rage that I had to pay as a christian for visiting a beadhouse.

In spite of everything there are very nice places for Photographers!

Day four was a big surprise. I went to Siena, had a fantastic hotelroom, a terrace with a view over the whole city. A small but beautiful city with a fantastic landscape and the best italian restaurant I've been ever since! I can highly recommend to go there and borrow a car for some exploration around Siena!

After Siena I spent a few hours in Pisa, where I went of course straight to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I head great sky and clouds, so I will of course post pictures from there.

I went to Livorno to stay overnight. Livorno was the "most ugly" city of the seven I visited in Italy, but somehow it seems that it was my destiny to go there and take two pictures who turned out to be the best I've done in months.
From now on I'll call Livorno the ugly ducking

Straight from Livorno to Milano, great great city. If I had to choose one city to live in Europe it would be Barcelona or Milano. Great Shops, great Fashion, great sights and so many young people. Go there if you can, and enjoy!

After this "every day a different city" I spent two days in Grado relaxing.

If you have read so far, finally I have to say that I ordered the Canon 5D Mk II already, and it should be in my hands until the next 5 days. So the future brings a new Camera, a festival with a stunning line-up and a trip to the city of the best soccer-team in europe in 2009 - Barcelona!
